The God of Thunder Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Empire magazine:

Forsooth! What light through yonder magazine breaks? It’s the Norse God of Thunder, and Kenneth Branagh is his director! Our James went on set of Marvel’s latest superhero movie to find out how Captain Kirk’s dad, Shakespeare’s biggest director and a really outlandish Avenger are getting along together. Have they kept the Shakespearean dialogue that Thor is famous for? Will he bring the thunder? And what’s this about The Destroyer?

This issue of Empire boasts an in-depth behind the scenes look at the film but, for the most part, the photos published in the mag are all pretty benign … save for one. After the jump, check out a very cool photo of Thor and his fellow God brother Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston) on set …

Oh yes, I am VERY much looking forward to the interplay between these godly brothers when Thor hits theaters next year. Even tho I kinda know how it’s all gonna play out, I can’t wait to see the Marvel Comics myth of Thor unfold on the big screen. Hammer vs. Curvy Horns. Which side are YOU rootin’ for?
