Barber's Adagio for Strings was voted as the saddest classical piece of all time in 2004. It is a true testament to how powerful and moving music can be, so powerful in fact that over seventy years later modern composers of electronic music and disc jockeys are keeping it alive in the artful music genre of Trance music.
