A quick guide about choosing prom dresses

Choosing among the different prom dresses is not always easy given the wide assortment of dresses that you can find in shops. Moreover you will also need the one that matches your body, skin and personality. It is the main reason why I always suggest people to start their research for the dress will beforehand.
Listed below are some tips that will help make you make the best choice when it comes to your dress

Color rules

Depending on your skin color you will have to choose the most appropriate dress.

> If you have dark skin then you should go for lighter colors such as white or yellow. You should avoid dark colored dress such as a totally black one.

> If you possess a lighter skin then you should make it a point to avoid all shade of yellow and white color if you do not want to look sickly. The most adequate color for you: red. It's glamorous, trendy and chic.

Your body form

> For those that have large chest it is advised to go for v-necks in order to draw attention away from your breast. As for sleeves, go for the rather short ones or puffy at the shoulders. This will help draw attention to your arms and not your chest.

> For those of you that have some belly it is advised to avoid fabrics such as satin and silk as it has a tendency to demonstrate the slightest flaw. It might therefore be important that you go for straight dress that will avoid attention to your belly.

When choosing a dress you should make sure that it is adequate for your skin and your body as well. You should not make the mistake of going for prom dresses that is only fashionable and not appropriate for you.
