Arts and Entertainment:Music from EzineArticles.com

In the modern world of high technology and the internet, there is really nothing you cannot do online. We have become accustomed to shopping online, we have started dating online, we socialize online, we do our jobs online and so on. Some of these things are good and some of them have a bad impact on our lives, but we have nevertheless accepted them all.

Arts and Entertainment:Music from EzineArticles.com

Not being able to slot things into genres is a thing that happens rarely. More so when it comes to music for we live in times where being the 'new' old thing is what makes it easier. Acquired Senses, the debut album of HFT, is the perfect antithesis to what the Indian non-Hindi and non-filmy music world has become.

The Best MIDI Keyboard in the Market

The ending scene of Ocean's Eleven is one that is quite well-known indeed, and Claude Debussy's "Clair de Lune" (or, at least, one of the orchestrations of "Clair de Lune" - but we'll get there soon enough) is a piece that is instantly recognizable - not just from this movie, of course, but in just about anything where a feeling of languid reverie is desired. Not too shabby for a man who was never really seen as more than a bizarre little composer by Those That Know More About Music Than You in his time.

A Easy Guide On How To Make Beats

Listening to sad country songs can indeed make people feel sad, especially if they are at their most vulnerable. They might have recently lost the ones they love the most like their lovers, family members, and friends. Most sad songs talk about the ups and downs of love, such as letting go of a loved one, healing broken heart, or moving on with life after a break up.

Strumming to the Best in Country Music Songs

Buying vinyl records for sale online can be a very daunting task. With the increased popularity of the internet and the declining presence of brick and mortar record stores, buying vinyl records online is quickly becoming the norm for record collectors looking for a top tune to fill out their vinyl collection. Whether you're looking for that monster northern soul 45 or that elusive rock n' roll record, finding vinyl records for sale online can be satisfying and disappointing in the same breath.

3 Criteria To Look Out For When Purchasing a Beat Maker

Another day, another vindication. I had been asked to do this post, because it's true that these pieces are everywhere. The first of these is featured in almost every lazy film where people are meant to look snooty while sipping tea out in their formal gardens while being served by extravagantly mustachioed butlers. The second has been hardly spared, either, though I will say that it was the first one that was most recently featured in a commercial touting colon health. What "Spring" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons has to do with the lower intestine is beyond me, but I suppose any publicity is good 250 years post mortem.

When La Coacha Meets Nicki Minaj!

This is too awesome for words!
We sent our very "especial" correspondent, La Coacha, to cover the iHeart Radio music festival in Las Vegas for us this past weekend.
THIS (above) is what she sent us back!
Priceless!!!
Extra special thanks to Minajesty, Seacrest, Guetta, Darren Criss, Natasha Bedingfield, Rob Kardashian, Cheryl Burke, Dave Navarro, Paul Van Dyke, Karina [...]

This is so sad.

Even after Jamey Rodemeyer took his own life, the bullies who made his life a living hell at school are STILL spewing hatred toward his spirit.

They're audaciously saying things like, "you're better off dead."

Absolutely ridiculous.

We NEED to make sure his death wasn't in vain! We NEED to fight for him!

Our thoughts are with you always, little monster.

Check out this interview his parents gave to the Today show (above).

Hip Hop Beyond The External

Keeping your guitar in tune is a major issue among all guitarists. A guitar that can't stay in tune is a guitar that can't be played. Luckily though, your guitar isn't broken. Kat Von D And Jesse James Have Broken Up Once And For All!

Yes, Jesse James and Kat Von D have broken up yet again!
And from what it sounds like, they split for good!!!
While they split briefly in July, they were to quick to reunite with Jesse exclaiming he "couldn't live without Kat."
But today, the tattoo artist told everyone who reads her Facebook:
I’m sure this will be [...]

This is a HUGE accomplishment for equality!

We couldn't be happier that she's doing what is right!

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a Republican from Florida, announced today that she will be co-sponsoring the bill to repeal the federal Defense of Marriage Act, making her the second of her party to join the LGBT Equality Caucus, alongside Richard Hanna of New York!

She says:

“I voted against the constitutional amendment defining marriage [in 2006] so I’m pleased to cosponsor the repeal of DOMA and work with my colleagues on marriage equality.”

And Rep. Jerrold Nadler of New York, the original sponsor of the House DOMA repeal bill, says:

“She is a tremendous ally in the world’s struggles for freedom and against oppression and discrimination. She is widely recognized as a champion of human rights and human dignity. And her support reminds us that the march to repeal the discriminatory DOMA is not a partisan issue. … [T]he drive to end DOMA is — and must be — a collective, nonpartisan effort that unites Americans behind a simple push for equality.”

Such a bold and brave move!

Slowly but surely, perceptions are changing - and they will only continue to!

This is an EQUAL RIGHTS issue, and eventually, this country will recognize the LGBT community as deserving of those SAME RIGHTS that everyone else has!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Rep. Ros-Lehtinen, for taking such a brave step! We sincerely hope that many will soon follow!

And check out her speech regarding the issue...AFTER THE JUMP!

It is an honor to be here at the 2011 Spirit of Lincoln Awards reception.

I also want to congratulate Log Cabin Republican Executive Director Clark Cooper and Deputy Executive Director Christian Berle for putting together this wonderful event.

Over the years, we have made important steps in securing equal rights for all Americans.

As a founding member of the Congressional LGBT Equality caucus, I have worked to extend equal rights to the LGBT community and eliminate hate-motivated crimes.

However, I know that without each and every one of you my voice would be lost in the background.

As a result of your tireless work, we have won great victories in the last few years such as the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and New York’s passage of marriage equality.

For too many years, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” made many of our brave men and women hide who they are.

Many went from one day to the next always worried whether they were going to be discharged.

No one who wants to serve in our armed forces should be turned away due to sexual orientation.

This summer, New York’s state legislature recognized the right of same-sex couples to marry.

This historic event was also a triumph for limited government.

As Republicans, we are committed to ensure that the federal governments play its proper role.

Defining marriage is not part of that role.

We are here tonight for equality and self worth.

All of us know that LGBT equality is not about creating “special rights;”

It is about ensuring the individual rights we all share as we fight for equality and justice.

As Republicans, we believe that our individual rights are not granted by our government.

They are our birth-right.

We also believe individuals should be judged on their merits and accomplishments and not by their race, religion or sexual orientation.

That is why the work Log Cabin Republicans does is so important.

You are able to show that conservative principles dovetail perfectly into issues of freedom and equality.

Those of the very issues the LGBT community has been fighting for and will continue to fight for.

With your help our country will continue its journey towards that “more perfect union” and give every individual, in the words of President Lincoln, “an unfettered start in the race of life.”

Online Beat Maker 2 Simple Reasons Why You Need to Get One Today

The Moody Blues of 1964's British Invasion sounded much different than the group that later fused rock and classical music in "Nights in White Satin." Their first hit "Go Now" was a cover of a little-known rhythm and blues track by Bessie Banks. Lush harmonies, Denny Laine's lead vocals and Mike Pinder's bluesy piano made it a rock classic. The Bessie Banks original was produced by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, who called it "the most over-looked soul performance of the sixties."

Evolution Of The Green Lantern Costume

MrRay73 mk2 MrRay is a good VST electric piano, it replicates the actual time honored sounds associated with the fender Rhodes electric piano which is just the thing for funk along with jazz. MrRay features diverse parameters that make sure to reproduce that of a vintage electric piano, it allows you to regulate exactly how hard all the mallets hit, so that you can produce loud rock notes or maybe smoother somewhat more ambient styles. You are able to fine-tune the exact 'piano age' to improve the actual sound experience of the piano to really make...

Tonight is the annual Out on the Mountain special night at Six Flags Magic Mountain where the park closes for GLBT folks and their friends. I missed out on going last year but David and I are really excited to go tonight! We’ve been talking about going to Six Flags all Summer but it never worked out. Tonight is our night, tho! It’s gonna be a blast!!

David and I will be meeting up with Darion and Sebastian for the night’s festivities so it should be a blast! This is the one night of the year that Magic Mountain isn’t uberpacked and it’s much easier to ride all the rides we want. Roller Coasters in the dark? Yes, please!

It’s Friday … Have a great weekend, y’all!!
